Public Comments and Public Hearings

Opportunity for Public Comment on Regional Transportation Funding:

On July 14th, the policy body of the Central Lane Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) will hold a meeting from 11:30am -1:30 pm at the Coburg Fire Station Training Room located at 91232 North Coburg Road, during which they will invite the public to provide testimony regarding the following funding request.

·          Funding for the Willamalane Parks and Recreation District's Middle Fork Willamette River Path Project:  This project will construct a regional Multi-Use Path along the north bank of the Middle Fork Willamette River from Dorris Ranch to Clearwater Park.  The proposal is to reprogram $320,000 of the MPO's federal discretionary funds from Phase 1 of the project, extending from Clearwater Park to Quarry Creek, to Phase 2a of the project, extending from Quarry Creek to Dorris Ranch.  Willamalane Parks and Recreation has been able to take advantage of cost savings in Phase 1 that has enabled the District to request that the previously allocated funds be rolled over to this new Phase of the project.

A decision on this item is proposed to be taken at this meeting.  More information can be found and materials downloaded at http://www.lcog.org/mpc.cfm.  If you cannot attend the meeting in person, you can provide comments in writing up through 5:00 pm. on July 13th and they will be presented for you at the meeting.
